    Smile Zebrawood Veneer supplier

I bought the veneer from Oakwood Veneer (www.oakwoodveneer.com. I got 4' x 8' sheets and cut them down to the 11" wide sheets i needed for the shelves. The large sheets came rolled and were very easy to trim down. Just use a sharp blade and a good straightedge.

Oakwood offers two types of Zebrawood veneer: one is called Zebrawood and the other is Italian Zebrawood. I used the Italian version. The difference is that the Italian version is "manufactured". All that means is that it is a little more uniform in that you don't see any splices. The product is real wood cut from a laminated large log. Handles just like any other veneer as far as staining, finishing or applying.

    Hope this helps.
